That this signifies a representative of truth from this good, and things ministering, is evident from the signification of "the lampstand with its lamps and reeds," as being a representative of the spiritual heaven and of the faith and intelligence from the Lord therein, thus of truth from good (n. 9548, 9551, 9555, 9558, 9561); and from the signification of the "vessels of the lampstand," as being things for purification and for cleansing (n. 9572), thus things ministering.
