That this signifies of the good which is of charity, and the truth which is of faith, namely, their total falsification, is evident from the signification of "woods," as being the goods which are of charity (see n. 2784, 2812, 3720); and from the signification of "stones," as being the truths which are of faith (n. 1298, 3720, 6426).
